Lisa was my Secret Santa, I love all of her gifts that she has sent me. I have put the soap to good use yummy. The little mouse pin cushion is so cute. Here is the other goodies that she sent me.
I have made 12 of these bags for the kids in my mothers group and other friends with little ones. They are easily put together and the kids loved the bells.
I joined Helens stitching around the block and I had to send mine off to Fiona. These are my favorite colours. Looking forward to getting my quilt back in the next few weeks.
After seeing on a few blogs the crochet blankets popping up I decided to make myself one. I think pink and purple worked well togther. I love how it turned out.
Fiona over at http://bubzrugz.blogspot.com/ was my swap partner. My little helper was there to help me open my parcel. This is what she sent me. I love all her gifts, I feel very spoiled.
I participated in Lydia's Treasures Colour Swap and my partner was Verionica in Nz. I gathered these goodies in her favorite colour Green. I hope you like them
There hasn't been a lot of sewing happening here. Angus has been keeping us up every night for the past month. (he's about to turn two) Last night he did sleep through so today I got my red handsewing quilt out(previous post pictures) and sat here, it was lovley to feel the little bit of sun that came out.
I have been doing these little crochet squares while watching masterchef. I have seen a few on other blogs and I have always wanted to do myself a blanket.
What have I been up to latley..... I started cake decorating classes and this is my first attempt. I am very happy with it and I love the hot pink colour.
I'm late. I should have posted yesterday but time just got the better of me. Here are my flowers (this week was red week). I bought my material for the path so I am going to work on putting the quilt together.
Another project for the box. I whipped these bon bon's up yesterday in no time. The pattern is by Hatched and Patched. I opted not to do the embroidery on them as I am going to put the person's name on them. Closer to Christmas all I have to do is fill them with chocolates.
I have been using up some of my scraps to make these flowers. I now have 13, I will have to start working out how I want to put them together soon, how are you putting your's together?
This is a quilt that I have made before (see previous post Mum's Quilt) My In-laws loved it so much that I am making it for them for Christmas. The Quilt is called Formal Elegance by Rickety Stitches, it's only a four block pattern but I am making it for a Queen Size bed so it has to be 16 blocks.
Are you doing the Early Bird Christmas Crafting? (http://creativestudio10.blogspot.com/). I have my journal and box ready. Now time to plan what i'm making.
I joined Karen's (http://journeyofaquilter.blogspot.com/) One flower Wednesday two weeks ago, and here are my first flowers in bloom. They are very addictive. I'm loving watching my garden grow.
I have an addiction to making these carrots by http://clarescraftroom.blogspot.com/. I have made 15 of them (12 for mothers group). The Easter bunny won't be going hungry.
I have made this quilt for my mum, it is called "Formal Elegance" by Rickety Stitches. I enlarged the size to fit a Queen Size Bed. There are 16 blocks, all with backstitch and some satin stitch.
Look at these gorgeous table napkins I made for Christmas. The pattern was from: http://gumtreedesigners.blogspot.com Next, I will have to make a table runner to match.
