Stitching Soiree

Yesterday I spent a great day sewing.  Lisa from Fig 'n' berry and Leanne from Petals & Patches organised another great day for us.  Karen Martin from Mrs Martins quilt shop was there to tempt us with many goodies to buy ( she may or may not have tempted me lol).

First up we were greeted with this gorgeous bag sitting at out tables waiting for us.

Wasn't long before I dived into my goodie bag.  Have a look at the fantastic kits and patterns we got.

I did manage to get some sewing done before we heard the call lunch is ready....

Then dessert.

Barb won the first raffle of the day.

I won a voucher which was spent on the day.

Another fantastic day looking forward to October to the next one.

Friday night sewing

Not a lot to show.

I made and sewed on binding to a friends quilt ready for pick up Sunday.

Prepared Instalments five,six,seven, and eight of Rosalie Quinlan Best Friends Forever bom.   This is the year to get it finished.  I also worked on installment four.

Then I got my things ready for a sewing day in Monbulk, will be back tomorrow with lots of pictures of the day.

Blankets blankets blankets

I haven't been doing much sewing over the last month because I have been finishing these blankets.  The first one was an order  so I need to get it finished quickly.

The second one was made for one of Angus's friends.

Lastly this one was made for Angus for when he is in the car for winter.

Tonight's project is to cut up some fabric for charity quilts for  Karen  Martin and do the ironing.
